Focus on the Arts: Bridget Moore
Artist Reception: Friday, August 3 from 6-7 p.m.
Location: Whitley County Chamber, 128 W. Van Buren Street
A lifelong resident of Columbia City, until just recently, Bridget’s interest in photography started at a young age. Her love for anything colorful, whimsical, and out of the ordinary led to her love of art while in school. As she grew older, she fell in love with the idea of capturing tangible memories the only way you can – through photography. In high school she took courses in film photography and quickly learned that she preferred digital photography. While in college, she taught herself how to use a DSLR camera and once comfortable began taking photos of family and friends. As her photography skills grew, other families began contacting her for photo sessions. She has owned her own photography business for almost five years; specializing in family and children portraits. In her free time when not photographing clients Bridget enjoys taking photos of her dog, flowers, insects, and anything else that catches her attention.
