The Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center has teamed up with Lifestyle Health Plans to offer affordable healthcare solutions for all of our members – particularly for small businesses and non-profit organizations.
Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center members, including businesses and non-profits, with a minimum two full-time positions are able to participate and will see premium savings averaging between 5-15%.
Information sessions for Chamber members who may be interested in learning more about the Lifestyle Health Plan are planned on the following dates/times:
-Thursday, July 11 at 9 a.m.
-Tuesday, July 16 at 3:30 p.m.
– Thursday, August 8 at 8 a.m.
– Tuesday, August 20 at 3:30 p.m.

Focus on the Arts: The historical portraiture of Mark Parker
Exhibit opens July 1, 2019
Artist Reception – Friday, August 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Location: 128 West Van Buren Street, downtown Columbia City
Join the Chamber as we celebrate the work of local photographer Mark Parker. Parker’s exhibit, featuring some of his historic portraiture work, is now officially open. An artist’s reception will be held at the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center during First Friday on Friday, August 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. Parker’s work will be on display through the end of August and can be viewed during weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Chamber After Hours: El Dorado
Thursday, July 18 from 5 to 6 p.m.
Location: 520 North Main Street (off Garland Avenue near Arby’s)
Join us for chips, salsa and plenty of conversation during our first Chamber After Hours event we’ve had in YEARS! Talk about your business, talk about your non-profit projects…or get to know your fellow Chamber members.

Chamber’s Annual Education Forum & Lunch

Location: The Center for Whitley County Youth, 201 West Market Street
Join us as Superintendents Dr. Pat O’Connor of Whitley County Consolidated Schools, Dr. Brandon Penrod of Whitko Community Schools and Dan Hile of Smith-Green Community Schools provide overviews of upcoming topics within their corporations. Time will also be allotted for questions and comments from those in attendance. $15 per person for members.
