Passages, Inc. – Direct Support Professionals

Ultra Electronics – USSI

Sales & Marketing Manager: Maximize sales revenue through active sales channel management and marketing activity of our Fuel Cell operations. This position will continually enhance the strength of our legacy distribution network via critical evaluation, continuous improvement tactics, and point focused sales and marketing strategies to current channel partners.  This position will play a role in evaluating and procuring new reseller and systems integration candidates on a global realm. This position will be “growth-focused” and will be responsible for the total sales and marketing strategies for our Fuel Cell products. Activities will include face-to-face visits, phone contacts, trade show support, and email correspondence.  This position will be the primary management point for the global distribution network. Candidate will interface with manufacturing, engineering, product management, and technical development staff to facilitate overall increased sales activities, resolve  technical inquiries, promote product development, and solidify overall customer satisfaction. EXPERIENCE: Must be a US citizen. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication, industrial management, industrial engineering, electrical engineering or similar discipline.  Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in managing, supporting, and growing a global indirect sales channel.  Must have experience in small scale energy management products such as hybrid power management systems, solar power management, battery management systems, charge controllers or fuel cells. Project Engineer:  Responsible for managing and driving project teams performing new product development.  Project Management activities involve the product development process from concept creation to full rate production.  New products include, but are not limited to Audio Amplification System, Ruggedized Communication Equipment, Commercial Loudspeakers, Indoor and Outdoor Notification Speakers, and Electronics Control Cabinets.   The Project Engineer will also support on-going production programs and associated design improvements to existing products. Mechanical Engineer (E-369): Provide design and production support for ADAR and Q53 programs.  Devise, lead and document engineering test activities.  Perform failure analysis and work up 8-D review on all field and internal defects.  Work toward continuous design, test, production improvements and cost reductions.  Interface with manufacturing to provide analysis, test and troubleshooting support for production activities and test stations.  Lead mechanical design changes via ECN.  Travel to Sparton and Government facilities to support subassembly and system-level testing activities at those facilities. EXPERIENCE: Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 0-7 years related experience. Software Quality Engineer: The person in this position is responsible for the  software validation testing (system testing) of new software and firmware designs as well as validating  product software changes.  Tasks includes defining test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions. The job also includes writing test plans, development of automated testing routines/systems using software controlling test measurement equipment. Also the job requires documenting, keeping organized records of tests, writing final verification and defect reports suitable for publishing to USSI customers.  The individual will be required to work closely with the Program Management, software development engineers, and customer representatives.  Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system. Support manufacturing by verifying test fixture software or any software used during production.  Participate in bi-weekly software meetings. EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.  Minimum 2 years of experience with C,  Java and/or Python language is desired.   Demonstrated knowledge of interfaces between processor circuitry and external hardware – A/D, D/A, serial interfaces, flash memory, etc.  Excellent analytical skills. Familiarity with lean/six sigma plus a through understanding of root cause failure analysis process discipline.  High level of initiative with ability to self-manage.  Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Must be a US citizen and capable of securing a US DOD secret security clearance. To apply, submit resumes on-line:
